Our Vision
Moray Women’s Aid’s vision is of a society in which women, children and young people are full and equal participants and live free of the threat of domestic abuse and other forms of violence.   

Our Mission
To working with women, children and young people, survivors, partner agencies and the wider community throughout Moray to raise awareness of domestic abuse and its lasting impact. We provide flexible support which is shaped by women, children, young people and individuals who access our services. We strive to empower everyone to make autonomous choices that create a positive impact on our society and prevent all forms of domestic abuse
 
Values Statement                                                    
Our Values are underpinned by our commitment to equality of opportunity. We recognise that many individuals and communities experience unlawful and unfair discrimination and oppression on the grounds of their Race, Age, Sex, Gender Identity, Gender Expression, Gender Reassignment, Sexual Orientation, Disability, Pregnancy and Maternity. We believe that equality for all is a basic human right and actively oppose all forms of unlawful and unfair discrimination. We celebrate the diversity of society and are striving to promote and reflect that diversity within our organisation.
 
As a feminist organisation we will develop and promote approaches to the prevention of domestic abuse which acknowledges that violence against women is overwhelmingly perpetrated by men and is symptomatic of wider structural inequalities in society.
